I also disagree with using Google`s YouTube for business, research, or other professional reasons.
Facebook and Youtube are no place for formal activites -- because your material is owned by them -- which seems to be opposite to all of the anti-piracy bills and actions that are happening currently in 2012 (Popular file-sharing website Megaupload shut down - Yahoo! News )
Companies will say Facebook, Youtube, etc are good places for your personal interactions -- because they are easy and cheap for them to setup, explain, and use.
Research, personal and especially Health data belong on proper research systems with research controls in place.
